I've decided to start a sort of audio/visual sketchbook. It will be a kind of simple way for me to throw some ideas together and see how they look. It will also keep me creating... I've been pretty unmotivated lately and I think this will get my brain working again. I don't know how often I'll be “sketching” but it's something I hope to do on a fairly regular basis. Anyway, here is the first entry...
The music to this piece was recorded at my old house on V Street in 2005. It was a random jam by Justin (Scraper) and Bil (BlindMouth). The video was shot out at my mom's in 2008. Shooting for The Sword & The Gun hadn't started and Jason & I were just fucking around. There is quite a bit more footage but I'm not sure it will ever see the light of day. Perhaps in a future entry...?
